Hello! I'm Michele Belsito: wedding reporter. I want to tell about your love. I want to capture its essence and enclose it in a colorful sequence of images. I want to TELL about you, your marriage and your micro cosmos. I want to seal your "love story" in every frame.
I like to walk with my 4 dogs. I love getting lost in the green of the mountains where I live. I love cinema: each any film genre has its magic (I admire Ejzenstejn, Hitchcock, Carpenter and Nolan). I play a lot of sports. Basketball is my passion because I think it's a reflection of my work: there are no limits but just a lot of movement! I am a fan of comics. I sip some good whiskey in the middle of winter and I love photography, especially street photography. I travel, read and admire everything that surrounds me.
MY PHILOSOPHY
My goal is to stimulate emotions EMOTION. I have a “reportage” style that documents the various facets of reality. My “image” must be communicative and expressive. The story of the wedding is not forced but to be fluid and pleasant and enhances the important moments of the event. I am meticulous, I love taking care of all aspects of the video and as a filmmaker I create my own personal vision. Mind, eyes and heart are the basis for my creations.
In my videos I look for the essence of memory, the emotion of those moments authentically lived that, thanks to the “report” images, can never be forgotten. My vision is not to tell you a story minute by minute but to seek out those intense fragments that will show your life.

• ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVELL?
Yes, I am willing to move to travel - for any event - all over the world. I find it motivating to be able to compare myself with different ceremonial places and methodologies. I like being able to compare myself with the dreams of couples and translate them with my passion and knowledge to tell your story. Let's discover the many possibilities together.
• HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE
I have a "reportage" style and I am attracted to new experimental forms of storytelling. I observe everything and I like to become an integral part of marriage. I think that - in these contexts - people should feel comfortable and free to express their being. My interventions are not intrusive, on the contrary they are simple suggestions to bring out the right harmony. I focus a lot on emotional moments.
• WHERE DO YOU HAVE YOUR STUDIO?
I don't have a studio. I like being able to meet couples in the most appropriate places in order to facilitate the comparison / meeting and create the right empathy in front of a good coffee.

• HOW LONG DO YOUR FILMS LAST?
I like to focus on the quality of the events; therefore, I prefer to make a story fluid and pleasant. I don't have a definite time.
• WE DON'T LIVE IN CALABRIA, HOW CAN WE GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER?
No problem. We will make an appointment via video call and discuss all the details.
• DO YOU WORK IN A TEAM?
I work both alone and with the help of filmmakers. We will evaluate together the presence of one or more operators who can give a different point of view of the event. It is important for me to have all the information about your event so that I can advise you on the right choices.
• DO YOU ONLY MAKE WEDDING VIDEOS?
Not only. I deal with different video productions. For me it is important to compare myself with other genres which, however, can become an alternative resource.
